After graduating from Waseda University, Keisuke Yamaguchi joined Sankei Shimbun Co., Ltd. in 2004. He became a reporter for Diamond in 2008 and covered trading companies and banks. He became deputy editor-in-chief in charge of financial affairs in 2012 and oversaw the coverage of IT, electric equipment, and politics from 2017. Since 2018, his portfolio has also included working as deputy editor-in-chief for Diamond Online, and he became editor-in-chief of the integrated editorial departments of Diamond and Diamond Online. Some of his major stories include: “Casting Doubt on Economic News Coverage,” “The Fall of Financial Elites,” “The Legends of Mitsubishi,” and “The Aspect of Softbank that Masayoshi Son Doesn’t Know.”
