Ryuko Sugimoto is currently the deputy editor-in-chief of Diamond Weekly and Diamond Online. She has worked as a reporter for over 20 years, including stints at Weekly Toyo Keizai and the Hokkaido Shimbun. She is fluent in Chinese and has used her language skills to interview numerous executives from Greater China, such as Terry Gou, Chairman of Foxconn, and Jack Ma of Alibaba.
